Every FreshTunes artist can instantly claim their artist profile and get access to Spotify for Artists directly from their dashboard.
This feature provides a quick artist profile claim and gives access to Spotify for Artists tools for managing your profile, pitching new music, and viewing streaming analytics and audience insights.
Once claimed, you’ll be able to:
- Manage and verify your Spotify artist profile
- Edit your artist bio
- Upload artist images and profile photos
- Access Spotify listener and streaming statistics
- Pitch upcoming releases for editorial playlists
- Promote your music and grow your audience
- Use Spotify for Artists features and insights
¶ How to access Spotify for Artists
- Log in to your FreshTunes account
Go to the My Music tab - Find the “Spotify for Artists” banner
Once your music is live on Spotify via FreshTunes, you’ll see a banner below
- Click “Go”
You will be redirected to the artist selection page - Select the artist
If you have multiple artists in your FreshTunes account, you’ll be able to select on of them - Click “Go to Spotify”
You will be redirected to the Spotify authorisation page - Log in to your Spotify account or sign up
- Follow the Spotify instructions and confirm access
Please note: You may need to log out of your personal Spotify account before completing the authorisation process.
¶ Requirements
To claim your artists profile, you must:
- have at least one release distributed to Spotify through FreshTunes, which is already live
- use the same FreshTunes account that was used to upload the release
- have a Spotify account
¶ Frequently Asked Questions
¶ Can I connect Instant Access for multiple artists?
No. If your Freshtunes account includes multiple artists, Instant Access can currently be connected to only one artist profile.
¶ Why don’t I see the “Spotify for Artists” option in my dashboard?
Possible reasons include:
- your release has not yet gone live on Spotify
- the release was uploaded through another FreshTunes account
- the page needs to be refreshed
If the option does not appear after some time, please create a support ticket in your dashboard.
¶ I can’t select the artist I need on the artist selection page
This feature is only available for Primary, Featured and Remixer artist roles.
